Xsolla Expands Its Portfolio with Acquisitions of Lightstream, Rainmaker, and Api.Stream

Xsolla, a leading video game commerce company, has announced the acquisition of Lightstream, Rainmaker, and API.Stream, previously owned by Creative Solutions, a subsidiary of Videndum Group. This strategic expansion aims to enhance Xsolla's Partner Network by integrating new tools and resources for streaming and gaming content creation. Established in 2014, Lightstream is a cloud streaming service that later developed API.Stream, enabling developers to build live video systems. Additionally, Rainmaker.gg offers creators a platform to monitor and analyze live streaming data across major platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook. According to Xsolla CEO Chris Hewish, "These acquisitions underscore our commitment to providing additional value to the gaming community and positioning the Xsolla Partner Network as a comprehensive solution for developers, publishers, creators, and their audiences." This move follows Xsolla's recent acquisition of AcceleratXR, a provider of in-game server backend solutions for live service games.
