Led by Handelsbanken Fonder, the funding round also saw participation from notable investors including Industrifonden, Brightly Ventures, Creades, and Inbox Capital. Since its inception in 2016, Fast Travel Games has established a notable portfolio, publishing titles such as Broken Edge and developing games like Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife and The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets. According to Fast Travel Games CEO Oskar Burman, "The steady growth of the VR gaming market, coupled with the upcoming releases of PS VR2, Quest 3, and Apple Vision Pro, positions us for significant opportunities… This new investment strengthens our ability to capitalize on the evolving gaming landscape."
