iRacing Secures NASCAR Console Gaming Rights
iRacing has obtained the rights to develop NASCAR simulation-style console racing games, with 704 Games, a subsidiary of Motorsport Games, transferring ownership. As part of this deal, iRacing plans to release a new NASCAR console title in 2025. Founded in 2004, the studio has developed several notable titles, including World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing and iRacing. According to iRacing president Tony Gardner, acquiring the license for the NASCAR console game was an opportunity the company couldn't miss, as it aligns with their long-held aspirations. Meanwhile, NASCAR Heat 5 and NASCAR Rivals will continue to be available, with Motorsport Games providing support throughout the next year.
