Kotaku Appoints Jen Glennon as New Editor-in-Chief

Jen Glennon is set to take the reins as the new editor-in-chief of Kotaku, effective October 10, and will report directly to Lea Goldman, deputy editor at G/O Media. With over a decade of experience in professional journalism, Glennon brings a wealth of knowledge to her new position. Her impressive career includes a stint as deputy editor of entertainment and gaming at Newsweek, followed by a four-year tenure at Inverse, where she most recently served as senior gaming editor. Upon announcing her appointment on social media, Glennon expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "I'm thrilled to join the Kotaku team and look forward to exploring the unique and fascinating content we'll create together." Glennon's appointment follows the reported departure of former editor-in-chief Patricia Hernandez, who was allegedly let go by G/O Media several months prior.
