Inworld AI Establishes Advisory Board

Inworld AI has formed an advisory board comprising seasoned professionals to guide the company in developing its innovative Character Engine, designed to create AI-powered non-player characters, brand ambassadors, and educational assistants. The advisory board features an impressive lineup, including Bing Gordon, a former Electronic Arts executive and current partner at Kleiner Perkins; Danny Lange, Google's VP of business intelligence and artificial intelligence; Jon Snoddy, a former senior VP at Walt Disney Imagineering; and best-selling author Neal Stephenson. Gordon brings extensive experience as a former chief creative officer at EA and current partner at Kleiner Perkins, having advised notable companies such as Spotify, Niantic, and Dapper Labs. Lange boasts an impressive background in AI and machine learning, having held positions at Unity, Uber, Amazon, and Microsoft. Snoddy's expertise spans his tenure as senior VP at Walt Disney Imagineering, as well as roles at Sega Gameworks and Lucasfilm's THX group. Stephenson, renowned for his novel Snow Crash, has also served as the former chief futurist at Magic Leap. According to Inworld CEO and co-founder Ilya Gelfenbeyn, the company is fortunate to have such a talented and visionary group of advisors. "They share our goal of harnessing AI's power to revolutionize the way we experience stories in games and entertainment," Gelfenbeyn said. Stephenson, who also chairs blockchain outfit Lamina1, believes Inworld has the potential to transform the gaming landscape. "I am convinced that Inworld AI's technology can unlock new ways of storytelling, as different from current games and movies as movies were from live theater a century ago," Stephenson said. "Players will quickly adapt to interacting with AI-driven characters in immersive environments, and creators like myself will benefit from being able to bring our characters and stories to life in innovative ways."
