Failbetter and Alexis Kennedy Resolve Long-Standing Disputes

Failbetter Games, the developer of Fallen London, has announced that it has reached a settlement with its co-founder and former CEO, Alexis Kennedy, regarding their long-standing disputes. In a statement released on social media, the studio expressed its pleasure at having resolved all outstanding issues with Kennedy, allowing both parties to focus on creating engaging games. Kennedy, who departed the studio in 2016 to co-found Weather Factory, also acknowledged the resolution, stating that they have "put their differences behind them" and wished the studio success. The specifics of the disputes were not disclosed. The resolution comes after Kennedy faced allegations of misconduct in 2019, which he has consistently denied, and amid claims of a "smear campaign" and questions regarding the ownership of Failbetter.
