Highlights from the GamesIndustry.biz HR Summit

GamesIndustry.biz recently hosted its first-ever HR Summit at BAFTA's London headquarters, drawing approximately 200 games industry professionals. The event, which preceded the 2023 Best Places To Work UK Awards, featured an array of presentations, panels, and roundtable discussions, commencing with a keynote address by Ubisoft's chief people officer, Anika Grant. The summit tackled various topics, including the implementation of four-day workweeks, internship programs, fostering staff belonging, managing remote or hybrid studios, recruiting talent from outside the gaming sector, and prioritizing team mental health, among other subjects.
