Wicked Saints Studios Secures $3.5 Million in Funding for Innovative Blended-Reality Game

Wicked Saints Studios has successfully raised $3.5 million in a heavily oversubscribed seed funding round, led by prominent investors Riot Games and Oregon Venture Fund. Additional support came from Bronze, 1Up, Precursor, Authentic, Origins, Mini Fund, Cap Table Coalition, Gaingels, and Rogue Women. Including pre-seed funding, the studio has now amassed a total of $4.6 million, which will be utilized to launch its groundbreaking blended-reality mobile game, World Reborn, in 2025. The funds will also be dedicated to building a robust tech stack, enabling high-volume scaling. Founded by Emmy Award-winning storyteller Jess Murrey and COO Alicia Clifton, Wicked Saints Studios boasts a talented team comprising veterans from the gaming and entertainment industries. The team includes notable experts such as Amanda Julina Gonzalez, Andrés Minaya, Christian Marsh Reiman, Daphne Larose, Kiersten Van Dorp, Lucas D'Avila, Mitchell Smallman, and Neil Martinez.
