Virtuos Establishes New Studio in Tokyo

At the helm of Virtuos Tokyo are general manager Pierre Guijarro, who brings over 15 years of experience from companies like 2K, Koei Tecmo, and Wizcorp, along with business development manager Ryo Arai and head of production Ryo Nakagawa. According to Virtuos, Japan is a crucial hub in the global gaming industry, and the company is excited to enhance its presence and capabilities in the region, especially given the rising demand for innovative game design in Asia. The team at Virtuos Tokyo is eager to support Japanese developers in both creative and technical aspects, contributing to the ongoing growth of the local gaming sector. This launch follows the recent openings of Virtuos Labs in Warsaw and Prague, marking a significant expansion of Virtuos' global footprint.
