Hogwarts Legacy Regains Top Spot in UK Boxed Charts

Hogwarts Legacy has regained its position at the top of the UK Boxed Charts, driven by a substantial 214% increase in sales for the Xbox Series X|S version, attributed to ongoing promotional pricing. The game has surpassed last week's number one, Starfield, which has fallen to eighth place due to an 87% decline in sales following its launch. The Crew Motorfest made its debut at number two, mirroring the launch position of its predecessor, The Crew 2, in 2018. Grand Theft Auto 5 saw a modest 2% sales increase, moving up to fifth place from eighth, thanks to a price reduction on the PS4. Conversely, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga slipped from fourth to sixth, despite a 21% sales boost on the Nintendo Switch, after experiencing a 29% overall decline. Fae Farm maintained its ninth-place position, with sales down 12%, demonstrating a stable performance in its second week. Red Dead Redemption 2 re-entered the top ten, moving from fourteenth to tenth, driven by price promotions on the Xbox One. NBA 2K24, which debuted at seventh last week, dropped to thirteenth with a significant 46% decrease in sales. Several titles have reappeared in the charts due to sustained price cuts, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, which saw an impressive 778% sales surge, along with Jurassic World: Evolution 2, Street Fighter 6, and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
