Exclusive Release: Football Manager 2024 Mobile Now a Netflix Subscribers' Perk

The latest installment in the Football Manager series, Football Manager 2024 Mobile, is set to launch as a Netflix Games exclusive. Unlike its predecessor, which was available on Apple Arcade, this version will only be accessible to those with a Netflix subscription. Existing Netflix members can download and play the game directly from the Netflix mobile application upon its release. Although the FM24 app will still be listed on the App Store and Google Play, a Netflix account and login will be required for access. Scheduled for release on November 6, coinciding with the PC and console versions, FM24 marks a significant shift as Sports Interactive prepares to transition to Unity for the upcoming FM25. Notably, the game will debut in Japan and include Japanese language support for the first time, as reported by Eurogamer. Miles Jacobson, studio director of Sports Interactive, expressed the team's excitement about the Japanese release and the expanded reach through Netflix memberships, anticipating substantial growth in their player base. This development follows Netflix's recent limited beta test of its cloud gaming service and the introduction of a gamepad app for TV gaming.
