Major Industry Players Join Investment Summit London, Coinciding with EGX

The GamesIndustry.biz Investment Summit London has announced its initial lineup of prominent investors, publishers, and platform holders. The event, sponsored by TinyBuild, will be held on Thursday, October 12th, with tickets available starting at £45 (+ booking fee and VAT). Each ticket includes access to the summit, a meeting system, lunch, refreshments, and a four-day pass to the EGX consumer show, running from October 12th to October 15th. The schedule features roundtable discussions, including private meetings between UK Games Fund, Xbox, and indie developers to explore potential opportunities. Notable talks include insights from Maverick Games' Harinder Sangha and Mike Brown on establishing a new AAA studio, as well as discussions on the success of Powerwash Simulator with Square Enix Collective's Timea Edvi and Futurlab's Kirsty Rigden. TinyBuild CEO Alex Nichiporchik will also share his expertise on emergent gameplay, and Hiro Capital will participate in the Games Investment Panel.
