Prestiged Emerges as a New Force in European Gaming

In a strategic move, an independent gaming firm has collaborated with an investment company to establish Prestiged, a new entity designed to serve as a hub for diverse European gaming businesses. Prestiged is the brainchild of Remote Control Productions and Auctus Capital Partners, which have also become the group's founding members, and is currently seeking additional members to join its ranks. The concept behind Prestiged is to enable its member businesses to operate with a significant degree of autonomy while Prestiged handles administrative tasks, overheads, and other secondary services, allowing the teams to concentrate on their areas of expertise. Although Prestiged's primary focus will be on Europe, it also plans to explore opportunities beyond the continent to expand its network of gaming companies. Notably, Remote Control Productions already comprises a collective of 15 distinct game companies, while Auctus manages over €800 million in fund capital. According to Hendrik Lesser, CEO of Remote Control, "The gaming industry is inherently complex and volatile for studios, employees, and investors alike.
