Pokémon Go Reaches 678 Million Global Downloads

Since its launch in 2016, Pokémon Go has achieved a staggering 678 million downloads worldwide. Data.ai's recent report reveals that the US is the game's largest market, accounting for 164 million downloads, or approximately a quarter of the total. This has secured Pokémon Go's position as the fourth most downloaded game in the US. On a global scale, it ranks 18th among mobile games by total downloads across both iOS and Android platforms. Throughout the first half of 2023, the game consistently ranked within the top 20 for average monthly active users globally on both iOS and Android. In terms of country-specific rankings, Pokémon Go placed third in both the US and the UK during the same period. In the UK alone, the game has been downloaded nearly 19 million times, rising to third place in the monthly active user rankings for 2022 and the first half of 2023.
