Krafton Experiences 2% Decline in Sales for H1 2023

Krafton, the publisher of PUBG, has reported a 2% year-over-year decrease in its H1 2023 earnings, with consumer spending amounting to $704 million. The company stated, "With the resumption of the PUBG Mobile India service in May, traffic in India is recovering, and we plan to increase our focus on the Indian market in the second half of the year by introducing localized content and hosting large-scale esports events." As part of its "scale-up the creative" business strategy, Krafton aims to enhance its game development and publishing capabilities. The company and its subsidiary studios are currently developing over 20 titles, including The Bird That Drinks Tears, Project Black Budget, and Project Gold Rush.
