Acid Wizard Studio Takes Indefinite Break
Acid Wizard Studio has revealed plans to take an indefinite hiatus due to an unsustainable work environment. The Darkwood developer announced the news on social media, stating that creating a healthy work-life balance has proven elusive. Before stepping back, the studio intends to finalize its latest update for the 2017 survival horror game. Prioritizing family well-being, the team mentioned the possibility of resuming work in five to ten years. Although the studio is taking a break, it hopes its games will continue to thrive and is open to collaborations on its IPs, including a potential Darkwood sequel and further development of Soccer Kids.
