Bandai Namco Announces Grand Opening of London-Based Store

July 20, 2023 Update: The Bandai Namco Cross Store is scheduled to launch on August 18. Originally announced on June 28, 2023, the store was initially planned to open in July. Located within Camden Market, this unique retail space combines the vibrancy of the physical market with Bandai Namco's rich heritage as a global entertainment powerhouse. The store's layout features six distinct shops, offering an immersive retail experience where visitors can engage with characters, products, and events in an interactive environment. As the first Bandai Namco store to open outside of Japan, it promises a diverse range of high-quality Japanese character merchandise, including collectibles, card games, figurines, and everyday items. According to John McKenzie, Managing Director of Bandai Namco Amusement Europe, 'Camden, with its eclectic blend of cultural products and art, is the ideal location for our inaugural UK store, which merges our expertise in location-based entertainment with the growing demand for Japanese-inspired IP and concepts.'
