Gamescom Asia Introduces Physical Consumer Space
For the first time, Gamescom Asia will feature an in-person, physical area where attendees can engage with the latest games. This October in Singapore, the event will debut a new B2C section, showcasing various games and including dedicated spaces for independent developers, esports, cosplay, board games, and communal play areas. The online shows, Primetime and Studio, will resume on October 19 and 20, accompanied by additional content for global viewers. "The opening of the Entertainment Zone to the public is a highly anticipated moment for us," stated the Gamescom Asia organizer. "We are aware that fans and gamers have been eagerly waiting, and we look forward to hosting them at Gamescom Asia." The Entertainment Zone will be accessible to the public from October 20 to 22, with expectations of drawing over 30,000 visitors and 150 exhibitors. Public tickets will be available for purchase starting late July. The previous year's convention included a virtual exhibit with two online shows and a dedicated Steam event page for consumers.
