Poland Sees 11% Yearly Increase in Gaming Industry Revenue for 2022

In 2022, Poland's gaming industry achieved revenues of €1.3 billion, marking an 11% increase from the previous year. According to a recent study by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, the Creative Industries Development Center, and the Game Industry Conference in Poland, digital distribution accounts for approximately 85% of all game sales within the country. The industry comprises 494 game producers and publishers, with a total of 15,000 people employed in game production. This represents a 16% year-on-year employment growth rate, making it the fastest in Europe. The Polish gaming industry has a diverse workforce, with women making up 24% of the sector and foreigners accounting for over 14.5% of employees. Furthermore, the average team size in Polish game development companies is approximately 31.3 people as of 2023.
