Battalion 1944 Developers Offer Refunds to Kickstarter Backers
Bulkhead and Splash Damage are now providing refunds to all Kickstarter backers of the first-person shooter game Battalion 1944. All supporters are eligible for a refund, regardless of their pledge amount or preferred gaming platform. The Kickstarter campaign for Battalion 1944 launched on February 2, 2016, and concluded on March 2, 2016, raising £317,281 against a target of £100,000. According to Bulkhead CEO Joe Brammer, the company fell short of delivering on its promises, particularly with regards to the console version release. As a result, the decision was made to issue full refunds to the game's original Kickstarter backers.
