Starfield to Receive Physical Release with Disc-Based Edition

Bethesda has confirmed that its highly anticipated space RPG, Starfield, will indeed have a physical release with a disc-based edition. The standard Xbox editions will come with a physical game disc, while PC standard versions will include a game code for digital download. This clarification comes after a tweet from Bethesda's support account sparked confusion by stating that Starfield would only be available digitally. The tweet was later deleted, prompting a Twitter user to seek further clarification. With the physical release now confirmed, Starfield is on track to launch on September 6 for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
