Electronic Arts Restructures into Two Main Divisions

In a significant organizational overhaul, Electronic Arts has announced its realignment into two primary divisions – EA Sports and EA Entertainment – both of which will report directly to CEO Andrew Wilson. This strategic move aims to grant studio leaders greater autonomy and accountability, enabling them to make more informed decisions regarding development and marketing strategies. The restructuring also involves key changes in the company's executive leadership, including the departure of CFO Chris Suh and the retirement of chief experience officer Chris Bruzzo. Suh will be succeeded by Stuart Canfield, a 20-year veteran of the company, while Chris Bruzzo's responsibilities will be taken over by David Tinson. Additionally, Laura Miele has been appointed as the president of EA Entertainment, technology, and central development, overseeing the development and production of key games and services, as well as central technology and development services. Cam Weber has been named president of EA Sports, having previously served as EVP and group GM of EA Sports.
