Diablo 4 Achieves Record-Breaking Sales as Blizzard's Best-Selling Game

Blizzard Entertainment has revealed that Diablo 4 has become the company's fastest-selling title to date, boasting the highest pre-release sales for both PC and home consoles. Although the exact number of units sold was not disclosed, this milestone marks a significant achievement for the game. In comparison, the previous record holder was World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, which sold over 3.7 million copies within its first 24 hours of release in 2020. Diablo 3, released in 2012, sold 3.5 million units and held the title of the fastest-selling PC game at the time. Rod Fergusson, general manager of Diablo, expressed his pride, stating, "This is a moment years in the making for the Diablo 4 team. We're extremely proud to offer players the richest story ever told in a Diablo game."
