It also alleges that Nintendo has refused to provide refunds to minors who made purchases through the game's loot boxes, known as 'spotlight pipes.' Although Nintendo removed spotlight pipes from the game in September 2022, the lawsuit seeks refunds for all US minors who spent money on these loot boxes.
