My.Games Establishes Regional Headquarters in Abu Dhabi

My.Games has launched a new regional office in Abu Dhabi, marking a significant expansion of its global footprint. The office was announced by AD Gaming, a collaborative initiative that supports gaming companies such as Unity and Ubisoft in their regional operations. Located at the Yas Creative Hub, the Abu Dhabi team will be responsible for publishing My.Games' titles across the MENA region. Additionally, the team will focus on recruiting local game developers and partnering with industry players to introduce internship programs, aiming to foster the growth of the regional talent pool. According to Alex Chachava, owner of My.Games, "Abu Dhabi's strategic position and vibrant gaming ecosystem make it a vital hub for the gaming industry, and we recognize its significance as a gateway to the rapidly expanding MENA market." Chachava expressed enthusiasm about establishing the regional hub in Abu Dhabi, looking forward to collaborating with local partners and talent to drive the industry forward. James Hartt, Director of Strategic Initiatives and Business Development at AD Gaming, commented, "My.Games' decision to choose Abu Dhabi as its regional base in the thriving MENA gaming market demonstrates the region's flourishing gaming ecosystem, which AD Gaming has been instrumental in developing. This move supports the industry's continued growth, and we are delighted to welcome My.Games to Abu Dhabi and support them in their future endeavors." Over the past year, My.Games has undergone significant transformations, including its exit from the Russian market in December. The company is now headquartered in Amsterdam, with its revenue-generating businesses in Russia spun off into an independent entity. Prior to this, My.Games was acquired by Chachava in a $642 million deal.
