New IPs to Make Up Nearly Half of Take-Two's Upcoming Releases
Take-Two Interactive has provided further details on its upcoming lineup, with nearly half of its releases set to be new IPs. The company has a total of 36 titles planned for fiscal years 2025 and 2026, in addition to 12 games slated for release in the current fiscal year. In a recent earnings call, CEO Strauss Zelnick stated that the company's pipeline has been in development for some time and expressed confidence in its delivery over the next three years. The new IPs will be complemented by new iterations of existing franchises, spanning multiple platforms and business models. While Zelnick did not provide further specifics, he emphasized the company's excitement and confidence in its future prospects. Take-Two's financial results showed a net loss of $1.12 billion, but the company expects significant revenue growth in fiscal 2025, reaching $8 billion, with additional growth anticipated in the following year.
