Cosmic Lounge Secures €4m in Seed Funding

Cosmic Lounge, a mobile gaming startup, has successfully raised €4 million ($4.4 million) in its seed funding round. Founded by Tomi Huttula, Tommi Kiviniemi, and Peter Tokoi, the company's founding team also includes Simo Rajamäki, Mika Karkinen, and Johannes Päivinen. The seed funding round was led by Transcend Fund, following an initial pre-seed investment from Sisu Game Ventures in 2022. With this investment, Cosmic Lounge aims to create engaging free-to-play puzzle games utilizing its proprietary Puzzle Engine development engine. According to Huttula, "A key priority for us is to continuously assess product-market fit throughout the development process, allowing us to produce games that truly resonate with our target audience."
