World Makers Secures $4 Million in Funding

World Makers, a game development studio, has successfully raised $4 million in its latest round of funding. The investment, led by Makers Fund, is intended to support the ongoing development of Deceit 2, the studio's second title. World Makers was founded by James Thompson and Jord Fox, and its first game, Deceit, a multiplayer horror game, was released in 2017. The upcoming sequel, Deceit 2, is set to be the studio's first release on home consoles, with a multi-platform launch planned. According to the studio, "this new funding will pave the way for our future and enable us to continue catering to our dedicated community as we create the next generation of online multiplayer experiences." In a previous funding round in 2021, the game developer had raised $3 million in seed investment.
