Bitkraft Ventures Enters Asian Market in Search of Gaming Investment Opportunities

Bitkraft Ventures has established a presence in Asia, seeking to capitalize on new investment opportunities in the world's largest video game market. The venture capital firm has set up a local team, comprising partner Jin Oh and principal Jonathan Huang, who will oversee the investment process. Huang, based in Singapore, previously worked at Sea Capital and Temasek, while Oh, based in Seoul, has held leadership roles at Riot Games, Garena, and Blizzard Entertainment. Together, they will help Bitkraft identify and invest in gaming and interactive entertainment startups across Asia, including those focused on Web3 games. Bitkraft has already invested in several Asian companies, including Tier One Entertainment, Nerdystar, and Tatsumeeko. With four venture funds and over 100 companies in its global portfolio, Bitkraft has also invested in notable gaming firms such as Epic Games, Frost Giant, and Resolution Games. "The Asia-Pacific region accounts for nearly half of the world's gaming revenue, and its companies have consistently driven innovation in the industry," said Oh. "I am excited to join Bitkraft and contribute to the growth of its portfolio companies, while also identifying emerging leaders in the region. I firmly believe that Bitkraft is well-positioned to become the leading gaming venture capital firm in Asia."
