Grand-Attic Emerges from Hadi Rebrand, Secures $5.3 Million in Funding
In a recent funding round led by Makers Fund, Grand-Attic has successfully raised $5.3 million. Additional investors included Akin Babayigit, co-founder of Tripledot, and Şekip Can Gökalp, co-founder of Coda Labs, along with Griffin Gaming Partners, an existing investor. Grand-Attic is the new identity for the studio previously known as Hadi. The company had raised $5.2 million in November 2021, after being co-founded in 2022 by alumni from Gram Games and Voodoo. According to the announcement, the new investment will be utilized for the development of casual mobile titles. Having relocated its headquarters from Istanbul to London, Grand-Attic, under the leadership of CEO Mark Muller, remains dedicated to recruiting talent from Turkey. "The foundation of Grand-Attic lies in the strength of small, independent teams that strive to create, refine, and innovate high-quality mobile experiences," Muller stated. "As we transition from Hadi to Grand-Attic and establish our new UK headquarters, our commitment to hiring the best global talent, including from Turkey, will enable us to deliver the next generation of exceptional mobile games worldwide."
