Custom PC Brand Acquired by Network N, Relaunches as Online Publication
In a significant move, Network N Media has acquired the Custom PC brand, signaling the end of its print magazine after two decades. The acquisition, finalized for an undisclosed sum, includes all brand assets, which were previously owned by Raspberry Pi. The final issue of the magazine is currently in print, marking the end of an era. However, Custom PC will live on as an online-only publication, with its new website launching today. This dedicated online platform, managed by long-time editor Ben Hardwidge and deputy editor Edward Chester, represents a new chapter for the brand. Network N's executive chairman, James Binns, expressed enthusiasm for the brand's future, acknowledging the legacy of Custom PC while highlighting the company's strategic expansion into the PC market, complementing its existing brands PCGamesN, PCGameBenchmark, and SteamIdFinder.
