Stray Fawn Studio Expands into Game Publishing with New Label

The developer behind The Wandering Village, Stray Fawn Studio, is broadening its scope by venturing into the game publishing industry. Established in 2016, the studio has developed and co-published several titles, including Nimbatus – The Space Drone Constructor, Retimed, and the genetics survival game Niche. Its most recent release, The Wandering Village, has achieved significant success with over 200,000 units sold since its launch on Steam Early Access in September 2022. At the helm of the new publishing arm is Philomena Schwab, co-founder of Stray Fawn Studio. "The time has come for us to embark on this new journey and provide support to fellow developers," Schwab stated. "Our goal is to create a publishing platform that is transparent and collaborative, allowing our partners to mutually benefit and thrive together." The label's inaugural title, Earth of Oryn, is slated for release on Steam Early Access in 2024.
