Microsoft to Skip Physical Appearance at E3

Microsoft has announced that it will not have a physical presence at E3 2023. The company stated that its Xbox Games Showcase, scheduled for June 11, will be part of E3 Digital, but it will not have a booth at the physical event, which begins on June 13. In a statement, Microsoft expressed its excitement to host the Xbox Games Showcase and co-stream it as part of E3 Digital, confirming that it will not be attending the physical event. The Xbox Showcase was announced last week, and it will be followed by a presentation dedicated to Starfield, which was also recently announced along with its release date. Rumors about Microsoft skipping E3 emerged in January, along with similar rumors about Sony and Nintendo. However, Xbox had previously announced that it would host a physical showcase of its upcoming games in Los Angeles this summer. Nintendo confirmed in February that it would not be attending this year's event, while PlayStation has yet to confirm its participation. On the other hand, Ubisoft has confirmed its attendance, promising an impressive lineup of titles. E3 2023 is scheduled to take place from June 13 to 16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, organized by ReedPop, the parent company of GamesIndustry.biz. Registration for the event opened last week.
