SFWA Unveils 2023 Nebula Award Nominees for Outstanding Game Writing
The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America has revealed the nominees for the 2023 Nebula Award for Game Writing. Established in 1965, the organization introduced the game writing category in 2018. Notable past winners include The Outer Worlds, which took home the award in 2020. This year's nominees are: Elden Ring by FromSoftware and Bandai Namco, Horizon Forbidden West by Guerilla Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment, Journeys through the Radiant Citadel by Wizards of the Coast for Dungeons and Dragons, Pentiment by Obsidian Entertainment and Xbox Game Studios, Stray by BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive, and Vampire: The Masquerade - Sins of the Sires by Choice of Games and Paradox Interactive. The winners will be honored during the Nebula Conference, taking place from May 12 to May 14 at the Anaheim Resort in Anaheim, California.
