Lince Works, Developer of Aragami Series, Announces Studio Closure
The development studio Lince Works, known for creating the Aragami series, has revealed that it will be ceasing operations. In a Twitter statement, the company announced that all development of new projects has been suspended indefinitely. According to the statement, "the past two years have been especially challenging as the studio transitioned towards creating new intellectual properties and redefining its direction. Although the studio had high ambitions and made significant progress, the economic climate was unfavorable, and time eventually ran out." Established in Barcelona, Spain in 2014, Lince Works released its debut title, Aragami, in 2016, and its sequel followed five years later. The studio has confirmed that both Aragami games will remain available on digital storefronts and platforms, and the online cooperative mode will continue to be accessible to players.
