BAFTA Games Awards 2023: God of War Ragnarok Leads with 14 Nominations

The nominations for the 2023 BAFTA Games Awards have been announced, with the ceremony taking place on Thursday, March 30. God of War Ragnarok by Sony Santa Monica Studio is at the forefront with 14 nominations. Meanwhile, BlueTwelve's Stray has garnered eight nominations, and FromSoftware's Elden Ring has secured seven. All three titles are in the running for the Best Game award. Other notable games, such as A Plague Tale: Requiem and Horizon Forbidden West, have received five nominations each. The indies have also made their mark, with Citizen Sleeper receiving three award nominations. The Performer in a Leading Role category includes Christopher Judge for his portrayal of Kratos in God of War Ragnarok, while Alison Jaye is nominated for the Performer in a Supporting Role for her character Alva in Horizon Forbidden West.
