Former Marvelous and Arc System Works Veterans Establish Studio Flare
Veteran game developers Toshinori Aoki and Toshimichi Mori have announced the launch of their new venture, Studio Flare. Located in Gotanda, Tokyo, the studio has received financial backing from NetEase, as reported by Siliconera. Aoki will lead the company as its CEO and president, bringing with him a wealth of experience, including his tenure as vice president at Marvelous Entertainment. His career in the gaming industry spans nearly three decades, dating back to his time at Sega in 1993. Mori, meanwhile, will serve as vice president and development producer, drawing on his experience as a general producer at Arc System Works. Notably, he is also credited with creating the popular BlazBlue series. Studio Flare aims to develop console games for a global audience, marking an exciting new chapter in the careers of these industry veterans.
