Gamescom Asia × Thailand Game Show has released the full list of exhibitors slated to appear at the 2026 edition, confirming the participation of heavyweight developers and publishers such as Capcom, Bandai Namco and The Pokémon Company, while Nintendo and PlayStation will be represented through their local partners. Notably, Sony will not be operating a dedicated booth this year, a contrast to the presence of both Nintendo and Xbox at last month’s main Gamescom event. In addition to the headline names, a diverse array of companies will join the showcase, including indie‑focused studios like 4Divinity, Elementa and Gryphline, as well as technology providers such as Kuro Games, Razer, AMD and Lenovo.
These participants will occupy the expansive business area, which this year will host pavilions from twenty‑five different countries and regions. Visitors can expect dedicated spaces for Austria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain and the host nation Thailand, among others, creating a truly international marketplace for games and related hardware. Beyond the exhibition floor, the event will feature a series of pitch and reverse‑pitch contests designed to connect creators with investors and publishers.
Xsolla, a leading payment and distribution platform for games, will sponsor the "Invest Circle and VIP XPerience," a curated networking program that gives developers, publishers and financiers the chance to meet face‑to‑face, discuss funding opportunities, and explore collaborative projects. The conference programme is equally ambitious. More than seventy speakers from over twenty countries will take the stage across four separate auditoriums. Among the headline presenters is John Romero, co‑founder of Id Software, who will deliver a keynote titled "Why We Still Make Games" and will be honoured with this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his enduring influence on the industry.
Other confirmed speakers include Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart of AdHoc Studio, Zhen Fang – Vice President of Roblox and head of its international division, Jane Lau – Head of Production at Tencent, Emilio Coppola – Executive Director of the Godot Engine, and Yoan Fanise – Creative Director and Founder of DigixArt. The show is a collaborative effort between Koelnmesse, Show No Limit and Online Station.
Prakash Ramajillu, General Manager for Asia‑Pacific at Koelnmesse, emphasized the growing global focus: "This year we are placing an even stronger emphasis on internationality. We are bringing leading global gaming brands to the entertainment area while expanding the business zone with more country pavilions, networking opportunities, and greater support for independent developers through the indie area and the Thailand Pavilion, backed by Thailand's Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) and the Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA)." Pongsuk Hiranprueck, CEO of Show No Limit, added perspective on the market’s evolution: "Last year's success, with over 200,000 attendees, clearly demonstrates that Thailand is not merely a consumer market but a pivotal cultural and creative‑economy driver across Asia." The 2026 edition will be staged at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, running from October 29 to November 1. The business area will be open exclusively to industry professionals and press on October 29 and 30, offering a focused environment for B2B meetings, product demos, and partnership discussions. For context, the inaugural Gamescom × Thailand Game Show in 2025 attracted 206,159 visitors from 95 nations, with the business zone welcoming 5,590 professionals representing 81 countries over four days.
Building on that momentum, the 2026 event aims to deepen its international reach, broaden the indie showcase, and provide richer networking avenues for developers of all scales. Attendees can look forward to expanded exhibition space, more diverse country pavilions, and an intensified schedule of talks, panels and workshops that address emerging trends such as cloud gaming, AI‑driven development tools, and the growing importance of Southeast Asian markets in the global gaming ecosystem. Overall, Gamescom Asia × Thailand 2026 promises to be a landmark gathering where creators, publishers, hardware manufacturers and investors converge to celebrate the medium, explore new business models, and shape the future of interactive entertainment across the region and beyond.
