Gamescom Asia × Thailand Game Show has just revealed the full list of exhibitors slated to appear at its 2026 edition, confirming the participation of heavyweight publishers and hardware partners that will draw attention from gamers, developers and industry insiders alike. Among the marquee names are Capcom, Bandai Namco and The Pokémon Company, while Nintendo and PlayStation will be represented through their local affiliates and strategic collaborators.
Notably, Sony will be absent from the exhibition floor this year—a contrast to the presence of Nintendo and Xbox at the previous month’s European Gamescom event. In addition to the headline brands, a diverse collection of smaller studios and technology providers will also take part.
Companies such as 4Divinity, Elementa, Gryphline, Kuro Games, Razer, AMD and Lenovo are among the exhibitors that will populate the halls, offering everything from indie titles to cutting‑edge peripherals and high‑performance computing solutions. This eclectic mix underscores the event’s ambition to cater to both mainstream audiences and niche segments within the gaming ecosystem. The business area of the show is set to host booths from 25 different countries and regions, expanding the geographic reach of the fair. Dedicated pavilions will highlight the contributions of Austria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain and the host nation Thailand, providing a platform for each location’s developers, publishers and service providers to showcase their latest projects and forge cross‑border partnerships.
Beyond the exhibition space, Gamescom Asia × Thailand will feature a robust program of pitch and reverse‑pitch competitions, designed to connect creators with investors and publishers. Xsolla will sponsor the “Invest Circle and VIP XPerience,” a curated networking environment where developers, financiers and industry leaders can meet face‑to‑face, discuss funding opportunities, and explore collaborative ventures.
These sessions aim to accelerate the growth of emerging studios and bring fresh ideas to market. The conference component will be equally expansive, with more than 70 speakers scheduled to appear across four stages. The lineup includes a blend of veteran industry figures and rising talent from over 20 nations. Id Software co‑founder John Romero will open the summit with a keynote entitled “Why We Still Make Games,” a reflective talk that will also see him receive this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his enduring influence on game design and culture.
Other confirmed presenters span a wide array of disciplines: Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart of AdHoc Studio will discuss indie development strategies; Zhen Fang, Vice President of Roblox and head of its international division, will share insights on community‑driven platforms; Jane Lau, head of production at Tencent, will outline the company’s global expansion plans; Emilio Coppola, Executive Director of the Godot Engine, will talk about open‑source tooling; and Yoan Fanise, Creative Director and founder of DigixArt, will delve into narrative‑driven game creation. This diverse slate ensures that attendees can gain perspectives on everything from large‑scale publishing to grassroots development.
The event is being co‑organized by Koelnmesse, Show No Limit and Online Station, a partnership that combines international exhibition expertise with local market knowledge. Prakash Ramajillu, General Manager of Asia‑Pacific for Koelnmesse, emphasized the growing international focus: “This year we are placing an even stronger emphasis on internationality, bringing leading global gaming brands to the entertainment area while expanding the business zone with more country pavilions, networking opportunities, and greater support for independent developers through the indie area and the Thailand Pavilion, backed by the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) and the Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA).” Pongsuk Hiranprueck, CEO of Show No Limit, highlighted the strategic importance of Thailand as a market: “Last year’s success, with over 200,000 attendees, proves that Thailand is not merely a consumer market but a key driver of culture and the creative economy across Asia.” The 2026 edition will take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok from October 29 to November 1. The business area will be open exclusively to industry professionals and press on October 29 and 30, offering a focused environment for B2B meetings, media briefings and partnership discussions.
For context, the inaugural Gamescom × Thailand Game Show in 2025 attracted 206,159 visitors from 95 countries, while the business zone hosted 5,590 professionals representing 81 nations over four days. Those figures demonstrate the rapid growth and regional significance of the event, positioning it as a pivotal hub for Southeast Asian gaming and a bridge to the broader global market.
The expanded 2026 program, with its increased exhibitor count, enhanced speaker roster and deeper emphasis on international collaboration, aims to build on that momentum and cement Bangkok’s status as a premier destination for the worldwide gaming community.
