Electric Saint's Vision: Crafting Unique Gaming Experiences

Anna Hollinrake and Pavle Mihajlovic, founders of Electric Saint, have been friends since meeting at the 2017 BAFTA Breakthrough Brits event. Their journey to starting a games studio together began with a series of spontaneous adventures, including learning to ride motorcycles and surf, as well as completing a short story writing course. The idea for Electric Saint emerged in summer 2022, and the studio was officially announced with a mission to 'make weird shit' and cater to underserved audiences. Hollinrake and Mihajlovic aim to create games that resonate with players on a personal level, drawing from their own experiences and interests. With investment from the UK Games Fund, Electric Saint has brought in contractors to help with development, but the core team remains small, with plans to grow in the future. Despite the challenges of starting a new company in an uncertain economic climate, the founders are optimistic about their prospects, citing the games industry's resilience and their own passion for creating innovative, meaningful experiences. Hollinrake and Mihajlovic hope to build a studio that fosters a positive, supportive work environment, where team members feel valued and empowered to create their best work. Ultimately, their goal is to produce games that bring joy, recognition, and a sense of community to players, while also allowing the team to thrive and grow.
