Cyanide Addresses Blood Bowl 3 Server Problems and Player Concerns
Following its launch, Blood Bowl 3 developer Cyanide has issued an apology for the game's server issues and responded to player concerns regarding the game's state and monetisation system. In a Steam post, the developer tackled several key issues, including the game's condition and its monetisation model, which has been deemed too aggressive and costly by players. Cyanide stressed that its monetisation system is entirely optional and only unlocks cosmetic items, with the goal of allowing players to access a significant amount of content for free. Although premium items, including legendary ones, are available for purchase, they are purely cosmetic and do not provide any in-game advantages. The studio apologised for the server issues that occurred during the launch period, confirming that the servers are now more stable. With only 28% of positive Steam reviews at the time of writing, players have been experiencing various bugs and issues with matchmaking. Cyanide has pledged to maintain open communication, promising regular updates via news, videos, and live streams to address player concerns and keep them informed of progress.
