Andrew Eiche Appointed as New CEO of Owlchemy
Owlchemy Labs, a renowned virtual reality game development studio, has announced the appointment of Andrew Eiche as its new Chief Executive Officer. Eiche, who previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer, will officially take over as CEO on March 3. He initially joined the company in 2015. Devin Reimer, the current CEO, will be departing the studio after dedicating 12 years to its growth and development. "I am committed to upholding Devin's vision for the studio's future and our core mission of creating virtual reality experiences that are accessible to everyone," Eiche stated. "We will continue to innovate and push the boundaries of VR technology while maintaining the unique charm that our games are known for. Our investment in the future of VR will also remain a key focus, as we explore new and exciting ways to advance the technology." Founded in 2010, Owlchemy Labs has developed several notable titles, including Cosmonious High, Job Simulator, and Dyscourse. The studio was acquired by Google in 2017.
