Ghost Ship Games Establishes New Publishing Arm
Ghost Ship Games has unveiled its latest venture, Ghost Ship Publishing, a new publishing label dedicated to fostering collaborative game development. The primary objective of this division is to empower game developers by providing essential resources and expertise, ensuring that their projects prioritize player satisfaction and community engagement. According to Ghost Ship Games CEO Søren Lundgaard, "By becoming a publisher, we aim to give back to the gaming industry and support the growth of the Danish gaming sector, as well as other independent developers worldwide." "Our mission is to provide fellow developers with the necessary funding, marketing know-how, and business guidance to help them succeed," he added. This announcement follows the recent news that Deep Rock Galactic has sold over 5.5 million copies, and comes after Ghost Ship Games was acquired by Embracer in August 2021, alongside seven other development studios. Ghost Ship Publishing is scheduled to reveal its upcoming titles on March 2.
