Gamescom Asia × Thailand Game Show has unveiled the full roster of exhibitors slated for its 2026 edition, confirming the participation of heavyweight publishers such as Capcom, Bandai Namco, and The Pokémon Company. While Nintendo and PlayStation will be represented through their local partners, Sony will be noticeably absent from the exhibition floor—a contrast to the presence of both Nintendo and Xbox at last month’s event. In addition to the marquee names, the show will host a diverse mix of developers, hardware manufacturers, and technology providers. Among them are indie studio 4Divinity, creative collective Elementa, adventure‑focused Gryphline, and the up‑and‑coming Kuro Games.
Peripheral specialist Razer, semiconductor leader AMD, and PC maker Lenovo will also maintain dedicated booths, offering attendees hands‑on experiences with the latest gaming gear and performance solutions. The business area this year expands its geographic reach dramatically, featuring pavilions from 25 different countries and regions. Visitors can explore dedicated spaces for Austria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain, and Thailand, among others, each highlighting the unique market trends, development talent, and consumer preferences of its home nation.
This broadened international presence underscores the event’s ambition to serve as a true crossroads for the global gaming ecosystem. Beyond the exhibition floor, Gamescom Asia × Thailand 2026 will stage a series of pitch and reverse‑pitch contests designed to foster collaboration between creators and financiers.
Xsolla, a leading provider of commerce and publishing services, will sponsor the “Invest Circle and VIP XPerience,” a curated networking program that brings together developers, publishers, and potential investors for face‑to‑face discussions, deal‑making, and mentorship opportunities. The conference component of the business area promises a packed schedule with more than 70 speakers representing over 20 countries.
These thought leaders will take the stage across four separate auditoriums, delivering insights on topics ranging from emerging technologies and monetisation strategies to cultural localisation and indie development. A highlight of the speaker lineup is John Romero, co‑founder of id Software, who will headline the keynote session titled “Why We Still Make Games.” Romero will also be honoured with this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award, recognising his pioneering contributions to the industry.
Complementing Romero’s talk are sessions from Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart of AdHoc Studio, Zhen Fang—Vice President of Roblox and head of its international division—Jane Lau, who leads production at Tencent, Emilio Coppola, Executive Director of the Godot Engine, and Yoan Fanise, Creative Director and founder of DigixArt. The event is a joint effort between Koelnmesse, Show No Limit, and Online Station. Prakash Ramajillu, General Manager for Asia‑Pacific at Koelnmesse, emphasized the growing international focus: “This year we are placing an even stronger emphasis on internationality.
We are bringing leading global gaming brands to the entertainment area while expanding the business area with more country pavilions, networking opportunities, and greater support for independent developers through the indie area and the Thailand Pavilion, which is backed by the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) and the Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA).” Pongsuk Hiranprueck, CEO of Show No Limit, added perspective on the market’s evolution: “Last year’s success, with over 200,000 attendees, is clear proof that Thailand is not merely a consumer market, but a key driving force of culture and the creative economy at the Asian level.” The 2026 edition will be hosted at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, running from October 29 to November 1. The business area will be open exclusively to industry professionals and media representatives on October 29 and 30, providing a focused environment for B2B meetings, press briefings, and partnership talks.
For context, the inaugural Gamescom × Thailand Game Show attracted 206,159 visitors from 95 countries, and its business zone welcomed 5,590 professionals representing 81 nations over four days. Those figures illustrate the rapid growth and expanding influence of the event, positioning it as a pivotal platform for both established studios and emerging indie teams seeking exposure in the Southeast Asian market and beyond. Attendees can anticipate a vibrant mix of product showcases, live demos, esports exhibitions, and cultural performances, all set against Bangkok’s dynamic backdrop.
The expanded pavilion programme will also feature dedicated sessions on topics such as localisation best practices, cross‑border publishing, and the role of government incentives in nurturing local talent. With a robust schedule of panels, workshops, and networking mixers, Gamescom Asia × Thailand 2026 aims to deliver a comprehensive experience that not only celebrates gaming entertainment but also drives business development, investment, and creative collaboration across the region and the world.
