Catalis Group Expands Portfolio with Acquisition of Secret 6
In a significant move, Catalis Group has acquired Secret 6, a prominent outsourcing firm specializing in 3D and 2D art, QA services, and comprehensive game development support, for an undisclosed amount. With operations in Madrid and Manila, Secret 6 boasts an impressive portfolio, having collaborated on a diverse range of projects, from blockbuster AAA titles such as The Last of Us: Part 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 to popular mobile games like Episode and Monster Train. Founded in 2005 by Ron Schaffner, former PlayStation business development director, Secret 6 is set to continue under Schaffner's leadership, with its team of over 300 professionals. Expressing enthusiasm for the acquisition, Schaffner stated, "We are excited to join forces with Catalis, a group renowned for its exceptional service offerings.
