The Mirror Secures $2.3 Million in Pre-Seed Funding

The Mirror, a game development platform, has announced the successful closure of its pre-seed funding round, raising $2.3 million. Headquartered in Miami and founded by Jared McCluskey, the platform offers game developers a comprehensive suite of tools and a community-driven environment for user-generated content. Additionally, it features a marketplace where creators can display and sell their games. The funding round was spearheaded by Founders Fund, with participation from Konvoy Ventures, Abstract Ventures, Florida Funders, and Palm Tree Crew. According to the company, the funds will be utilized to expand its team and enhance brand visibility. "The Mirror empowers developers of all skill levels to collaborate in real-time with peers to build the next generation of games and applications," McCluskey stated. "While most software has transitioned to cloud-based, real-time collaboration, game development has lagged behind; we're excited to revolutionize the industry with open-source solutions."
