Hiro Capital, a leading venture capital firm, has announced a significant investment in Loric Games, a newly formed studio comprised of seasoned developers from Mythic Entertainment. Founded in March by renowned industry veterans Brian Johnson, Ray Soto, and Rob Denton, Loric Games is poised to make a significant impact in the gaming industry. Johnson and Soto bring extensive experience from their time at Mythic Entertainment, having contributed to iconic titles such as Ultima Online and Star Wars: The Old Republic. The investment from Hiro Capital will be utilized to support the development of Loric Games' inaugural title, slated for announcement in 2023. The studio will specialize in creating cooperative survival RPGs, offering immersive gaming experiences.
