Bandai Namco Europe Introduces New Music Label

Bandai Namco Europe has unveiled its latest venture, the Bandai Namco Music Label, dedicated to publishing original soundtracks and scores from its diverse range of games. The label has already released two albums, featuring music from the highly acclaimed Elden Ring, which was made available earlier this month, and the soundtrack from Tales of Arise, released today. In a statement, the company emphasized the significance of music in the gaming experience, expressing its goal to make video game music accessible to a broad audience. This move follows a similar trend, as French publisher Microids recently launched Microid Records to release soundtracks from its own portfolio of games. Additionally, Bandai Namco is exploring other creative avenues, having announced a collaboration with Wayfarer Studios to develop a live-action film adaptation of the classic Pac-Man franchise.
