Brazilian Gamers: 43% Make Purchases Within Games

According to a new study by Newzoo, nearly half of Brazil's gaming population spends money on the games they play, with 43% of users making purchases. The primary drivers for in-game spending include acquiring additional content, customizing characters, enhancing the gaming experience, playing with others, and subscribing to services. The leading reason for spending money on games is to access extra content. Brazil's gaming market is also notable for its revenue generated by players, ranking tenth globally, with a total of $2.7 billion spent by players. Furthermore, the country boasts an impressive 101 million active gamers, securing its position as the fifth largest gaming market globally.
