Disney to Deliver Keynote at GI Live: London's Digital Day

Sean Shoptaw, senior vice president for Global Games & Interactive Experiences at The Walt Disney Company, is set to kick off GI Live: London on its digital day. In an online Q&A session with GamesIndustry.biz, Shoptaw will delve into Disney's approach to working with game development companies of all sizes, from indie teams to larger studios. This comes on the heels of Disney's recent announcement of partnerships with indie developers Bithell Games and Dlala on new titles, including a Tron game and a Mickey Mouse adventure. Disney joins an impressive lineup of prominent speakers, which includes representatives from PlayStation, Valve, Xbox, Yogscast, Twitch, Rare, and many more. GI Live: London will take place from September 21st to 22nd at the London Excel, alongside the EGX consumer show, with a digital-only meetings day scheduled for Tuesday, September 20th. All talks will be streamed online.
